Wolf Laurel Resort
The
largest and best known resort in Asheville's Big Bald Highlands region.
Wolf Laurel Resort is a gated community offering golf, tennis, hiking on
the Appalachian Trail, an extensive horseback riding program, swimming
and many other activities on it's almost 5,000 acres. It is also
adjacent to Wolf Laurel Ski Resort. Over 500 homes are
already built and many more are currently under construction including a

Counties are "dry counties" with very difficult, archaic drinking laws
concerning beer, wine and mixed drinks. The golf course is one of the
highest elevation courses in Eastern America & not to be missed along
